Vicky Storey is Creative Director at Chol, a live story making company based in Yorkshire, England. Over the last 10 years Vicky has worked extensively in schools and communities as a practitioner and researcher. Vicky’s passion about arts-led education helped her pioneer Chol’s flagship ‘Imaginary Communities’ programme which puts live story making at the heart of teaching and learning in educational settings. Vicky shares practice regularly with students at Universities across the country and has recently designed and taught a ‘Drama in Education’ module at the University of Manchester. Her current Doctoral research focuses on the impact of open-ended drama and story making on pedagogy and practice within the current educational climate of accountability.
Vicky is an advisor for the Teacher Development Fund.
