Sylvan Baker is an Applied Theatre Lecturer at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and an art practitioner with experience in a range of applied arts contexts. He’s an Associate Artist at People’s Palace Projects and an Artist Fellow at Queen Mary University of London. His current research ‘The Verbatim Formula’ – which uses verbatim practice with care experienced young people was the winner of the QMUL Impact Public Engagement award 2017. Other research includes ‘All in All’ – a practice inquiry into issues of Inclusion and Diversity in Higher Education from the perspective of non-white students and academics
